The Kush Brothers have been running out of Barcelona since at least 2015, when their website came online. They’re focused on creating limited run, seasonal strains of mostly feminized seeds that they grow organically. They’ve amassed a really stellar reputation and have won a lot of awards in the short time they’ve been around. Apparently the stuff that comes out of their beans is really special. Unfortunately they seem to only ship within Spain, which likely only adds to their prestige. People who don’t speak Spanish will need to translate this site using a translation application, since The Kush Brothers don’t give you the option of viewing their site in other languages. Their header includes a link to a PDF of their catalog, which is always a nice touch. There’s also a shop link that allows you to interact with their product pages. Those are represented by different font graphics for most of their limited run and personal strains, though some of their more full-time stock has photos of buds. They do their customers a favor by using categories and tags as searchable filters, to keep their inventory organized and easily searchable using a number of different approaches. Kush Brothers runs a line of thirty-five seeds, twenty-three of which have apparently won awards! In their collection are eight regular strains, fifteen feminized, and three autoflowers. Their strains are mostly of their own making, with some variations on favorites like Zkittlez. They’ve got names like Tropicana Cake, Georgia Pie V2, Glue Gasoline, Silver Punch, Bruntz, Sherlato, Dosidoss, and Peanut Butter Brothers. They come as singles or in packs of three, five, and ten. There’s only two things we’re not wild about when it comes to this website. One is some of the use of grey font on black background, which can be hard to read for folks with bad eyes, like those with glaucoma for example. The other issue is with the lack of information about the strains themselves. There’s a brief bit of statistical information somewhat obscured further down the page. That block of text gives you the variety the seeds are available in, their phenotypic split between indica and sativa, their lineage, estimated flowering time, time to harvest in both the northern and southern hemispheres, and estimated indoor and outdoor yields. That’s certainly enough, but we think they’ve earned the right to brag a little about their process and the flavors and effects of their products. The Darkside is one of the few of their strains that get a bit of a blurb. Many of the others look a little bare. In any case, we’re sure that some of the amazing success that these folks have seen in recent years is doubtless due to how easy their website is to use. It’s both attractive and functional, which makes it a pleasure to visit.
