Seed City

Seed City is a marijuana seed bank that’s located in Sheffield, United Kingdom. This seed bank started in 2010 by a group of owners, and it’s quickly developed to an international seed vendor with over ten years of experience in the industry. Users who visit the website for the first time will be brought to the homepage after an age check. The website has a mostly black and green color scheme which can sometimes be harsh on the eyes. The design is rather dated and fairly cluttered, with large amounts of text and moving parts. The majority of the text is all made with different fonts and colors, which can make it difficult to read and find your way around. Visitors may not be entirely sure exactly where to start as there’s a lot happening on the home page, but you can hover over the Cannabis Seeds tab at the top of the page to find the store link. Those who scroll further down the home page will see a few blurbs about different types of seeds, along with categories of seeds on the left side of the page. There’s a number of different sections on the right side of the page, such as testimonials, an affiliate program and a newsletter section. The rest of the page features numerous blurbs about different kinds of seeds and seed banks. The bottom of the page has a myriad of different images representing links to breeders, as well as links to seed promotions and other sales. There’s also a section showing some of the featured strains, with some more links and a site map at the very bottom of the page. On the store page, the website will retain both of the sidebars from the home page, which will continue the slightly crowded theme of the website. Luckily since the left sidebar features all the seed categories, this acts as a search tool for the user. The store page has product cards for each of their products that include a small description of the strain, a photo of the mature plants, the customer rating and the price. The full product page of each listing gives substantially more information in a written form as well as through a stats table near the bottom of each product page. It’s unclear how to choose the quantity of the strain you’d like. There are over fifteen hundred strains available for sale, which provides a very large range of choice for customers. There are three methods of contact, found under the Contact tab at the top right of the page. Seed City’s contact methods include two email addresses, one for regular and encrypted email, a postal address and a telephone number. There is also an online contact form on the same page. There are over twenty languages supported on the website, represented by buttons in the top left corner. Prices are in USD by default, but customers can choose one of many different currencies by using the button to the right of the language buttons.
