Neptune Seed Bank

Neptune is a novelty seed bank with an owner who has a reputation for being hard to deal with. He also left a fake review for at least one other seed bank in his quest to online victory. This author has first hand knowledge of fake review he left for I49 Genetics. He didn’t realize it, but when he left a Google My Business review it said “Neptune Seed Bank” and then he changed it. But this writer saw the review and even emailed him about it. He claims that I49 wasn’t open 24 hours a day so it deserved a 1 star review. If he wasn’t in the business, its not a big deal,  but as a competitor that shows the level of class that you are dealing with when you buy from NSB.

On a more positive note please read on about this ethically challenged seed bank.

Their seeds are almost entirely without THC, making them legal to order, ship, and own no matter where you are. Founded in 2015 in California and carry nearly two thousand different types of seeds from more than one hundred different breeders including Cannabis by Corey, Purple City Genetics, Pacific Northwest Roots, Geist Grow, and Dungeon Vault Genetics. All their seeds have less than zero point three percent THC contents, and they remind you of that on every single one of their product pages. They don’t offer any growing advice and they don’t recommend you germinate their products. They also say that if your seeds don’t germinate you should contact the breeder, so that sounds like a legal disclaimer. Neptune Seeds will deliver to anywhere in the United States and internationally to any country in the world so long as America doesn’t have some kind of embargo with them. Their seeds average around ten to twenty dollars each. Their BOGO, buy one get one, and last chance sections sometimes offer steep discounts on seeds they’re trying to clear out. Neptune accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, electronic checks, and credit cards using Waave and Max Advantage, as well as cash sent by mail. Their site has a section of breeder interviews and news, a bit like a blog. They have everything from autoflowering and CBD heavy hemp seeds to feminized and unsexed regular ones. Their product pages are very short on information. But because they don’t encourage germinating seeds, there’s no reason to offer any kind of germination or cultivation information after all, so we can’t be upset that they don’t offer that. Neptune Seed Bank gives you the lineage of the strain, how many seeds are in a pack of them whether they are unsexed or not, and that’s about it. One good thing about their page is that there are tags and categories on the bottom of each product page that can be clicked on to produce new lists for easier searching. Neptune asks for quite a bit of personal information when you pay using a credit card, sometimes including a photo of the card. This might create a deterrent for lazy hackers, but also creates a gold mine of personal information for anyone tenacious enough to actually get into their site’s history. It’s also a bit of a hurdle for folks who are used to the ease of online shopping elsewhere, where security is less stringent. Overall, this website is a little confusing and definitely sends a lot of mixed messages. Their main homepage is very flashy and has a lot of large pop ups that completely obscure the rest of the page when rolled over. However, once you get into the site that design standard is completely abandoned save for the site header, and their use of photos from there on seems a little random. If you’re looking for expensive hemp seeds, this place has the best selection.
