Cannabis NL

Cannabis NL is Newfoundland and Labrador’s leading cannabis dispensary, and a division of the Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation. The website is a little tricky to navigate, since the drop down menus stick around after you’ve hovered over them once, so either you have to find some spot from which to click it away or click on the next one. It doesn’t sound like a big deal, but one try and you’ll see. Sticky buttons aside, headings include New (arrivals), flower, concentrates, edibles, topicals, brands and a learning section. New arrivals are simply new strains or other products, while the flowers section boasts dried flowers, clones and seeds. They do not offer many products, though their dried flowers and concentrate sections are somewhat impressive. Another sort of pest is that you can hover over sections to get the drop down, but you can’t just click on the section as a whole. Rather, you have to slide the arrow down to the subsection you would like to view, and unless you make a straight line to it, the whole section closes and you are forced to start over. Some margin expansion would take care of this problem right away. Development stuff aside, Cannabis NL has pre-rolls, ground and whole flower, distillate, hash, shatter/wax, infused flowers and pre-rolls, kief and rosin. Edibles include beverages both carbonated and still, chocolates, confections, baking, dry mix beverages, capsules, coffee pods, oral sprays, liquid extracts and lozenges. Topicals include lotions, massage oils, salves, soaks and soaps, and they offer a detailed list of all brands they carry. A breath of fresh air can be found in their learning department, where they outline responsible sales and use, cannabis education courses and programs and initiatives. These guys offer one type of seed package, Seaweed seeds, which is a five seed variety pack. It doesn’t say where they ship, though they do tell us it takes 1-2 business days. We can assume that this is the time it takes for them to get the order together and get it shipped, though it may be that Cannabis NL only ships to NL, and that would be a two day delivery. We don’t know if they ship outside of the province, nor do we know if they ship to the States. What we do know is that they accept returns to their distribution centre in St. John, and that they only accept returns which are not requested because of user error. Also located on the Cannabis NL site is a store locator, so you can get in touch with an NLC dispensary in your region of the islands, which is a nice thought, considering they are all privately owned.  We recommend hitting a storefront, rather than shopping on this site. Chances are you will find a lot more in person that you will, in this case, on the web.
