Canna Venture Seeds

The website of Canna Venture Seeds is laid out a little differently than anyone might be used to and the green and black color scheme is not necessarily inviting. It more closely resembles a dark web page than anything the average web surfer is used to. That said, the homepage tells us right away that they offer worldwide shipping and that you can purchase direct from the breeder. It looks like Canna Venture Seeds does a monthly seed drop, which involves the release of numerous new strains, some of which they say have been in the works for years. In their Shop menu button, you will find feminized seeds, male/female regular seeds and what is called The Pure Lines. The latter seems to be pure versions of some fan favorites and their descriptions say that you get at least five seeds per pack. There are only a few listed and their feminized selection only has four strains, though they do look tasty. Everything in this shop is discounted, sometimes up to 40%, though it is hard to tell why the prices would have been so high in the first place. The regular seed section lists one single strain and it is out of stock, so there is a lot left to be desired with this company. They accept cash and money orders, and though they do not accept PayPal at the moment, the proprietor says to contact him/her directly and they will lay out the details of how to safely pay with a credit card. Their address is a post office box in Colorado, though they list hours of operation for their office. One can assume that it is between these hours that orders will be processed, but they say nothing to this effect. They do list a cell phone number, however, and we suppose one may get in touch with the owner that way, during hours of operation. Canna Venture offers a contact section which links to a messenger box, and they invite us to ask anything we like. Though the site may be a bit lesser, it seems like transparency isn’t an issue. The last link on their menu is Promos, of which there is one and it is hard to read. They offer 40% off almost everything, but the prices are so high to begin with, it seems like a marketing ploy, and adding the phrase ‘for a limited time’ doesn’t make it any better. On a lighter note, the strain descriptions this proprietor provides are comprehensive and he does know his stuff, he gives a shout out to the breeder and explains the genetics well. Though it’s hard to tell if the buying direct from breeder advertisement at the top of page one is accurate.
