Female Seeds

Female Seeds is a seed bank located in Ouderkerk Aan De Amstel, Netherlands. Customers can learn a lot about this seed bank through the About tab at the top of the page. FS has been around since at least 2003, and the owner has been growing his own cannabis and starting seed banks since the early eighties. The shop can be found by hovering or clicking the Shop tab at the top of the home page. Seed types include indica, sativa, outdoor and autoflowering. The shop page will feature scrolling sections of seed types. Product cards scroll fairly fast, so only the basic information is given, though you can stop scrolling by hovering over a product. The product cards include the name, prices and photos of the strain. When hovering over the product card, an icon of an eye can be clicked to quickly bring up an overview of the product without even having to leave the page. A full product page can be accessed by clicking on the chosen strain. Quantities are available in amounts of four and ten seeds. On the product overview, customers will be given the basics like yields, potency, flowering times, expected sizes and more. On the product page, extensive details are provided that will give any grower all they need to know, along with customer reviews of the selected strain. On the home page, visitors will be treated to a delightful website design that’s easy to understand and simply nice to look at. The softer font used by Female Seeds on their website and in their logo is characteristic and easy to read. The logo is simple yet memorable, consisting of a few green leaf shapes with a grey leaf on top. The home page features a Shop Now button on the home banner, along with some nicely designed graphics featuring a mix of pastel colors and high quality photos of marijuana plants. Scrolling a bit further on the Female Seeds home page will bring you to an About section where you can learn about the company, with a link encouraging you to read further. Below this is an email address field where you can choose to subscribe to promotional emails. Some simple buttons in the top right corner will link you to a search bar, an account page and a shopping cart page. The contact page features a postcard-like address field where you can send a message to the team. Below this is a myriad of other useful resources, such as a way to contact the team through Facebook and Instagram, and a forum dedicated to growers and their cannabis questions and concerns. The shipping field in the checkout shows every country, so it’s safe to assume that it’s possible to order no matter where you are. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, cash, several European payment providers, and credit cards for both Europe and international.
